AB Productions second feature film. In post production fall 2010.
"Trunk’d" is a road-trip comedy written and directed by Jake Hull. The film involves four men who drive from Nebraska to Texas to dispose of the body of a dead call girl whom they find unresponsive the morning after a bachelor party. The film was shot over a period of fifteen days during June and July 2010 in counties across Southeastern Nebraska. Actors in Trunk’d include an impressive roster of nationally known comedians and up and coming talent.
The screenplay is the second feature film written and Directed by Hull, with revisions by Trevor Snell (Vipers in the Grass) and Tony Wash (A Chance In Hell). Supervising Producer Jenna Edwards brings a wealth of film production experience to the project from her experiences working on the films “April Showers” and “In The Darkness”.
The film is being financed by Knuth Enterprises, with additional support from Hoppe Films.
Director of Photography Rhett McClure shot principal photography on the RED ONE digital cinema camera. AB Productions aims to finish postproduction on the film in time for fall 2010 submission to film festivals and consideration for national and online distribution.
Local nonprofit film organizations Nebraska Independent Film Projects and the Nebraska Film Group- Omaha have helped provide preproduction and audition assitance to the production.
